Overview

AI Hackathon Zubr Capital Young Almaty is a one-day hackathon for students and aspiring startup founders, dedicated to creating products using artificial intelligence. Organized by Zubr Capital.

The event will take place on 19 September 2026 in Almaty from 09:30 to 20:00. The working language is Russian. Participation is free.

Participants explore customer needs, validate hypotheses, and develop an MVP — a minimum viable product. The work includes preparing a roadmap, product structure, prototype, and presentation. The hackathon concludes with a pitch to investors and experts.

You can join without your own idea or present your startup. Students gain practical entrepreneurial experience, while founders receive help in validating hypotheses and developing their product.

Priority areas: artificial intelligence, B2B, SaaS, financial and medical technologies, e-commerce, games, creative economy, and mobile applications. Other industries are also allowed.

Among the announced mentors are Oleg Khusaenov, Sergey Osipov, Nikita Krivelevich, Anna Khechoyan, and Alyona Podalnitskaya.
